Our Student Ministry functions as one team. Our vision is to disciple by making disciples through outreach, fellowship, worship, discipleship, and missions. As different individuals, through the body of Christ, and our different gifts and talents, we work together in such a way as to complement one another and our ministry.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.”
– 1 Timothy 4:12

The students of the HBC Student Ministry seek to be DISCIPLES.
Therefore, we act in accordance with our faith and our vision:

    • Develop relationships (1 Peter 4:8-10)
    • Imitate Christ (Ephesians 5:1-2)
    • Sinners in need of a Savior (Romans 5:8-10)
    • Choose to reach out (Matthew 25:37-40)
    • Instill agape love (John 13:34-35)
    • Please the Lord (Hebrews 13:16)
    • Love God – Love others (Mark 12:30-31)
    • Enter by the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14)
    • Sacrificial service (Luke 9:23)

Our student ministry is broken out into two areas: middle school (6th-8th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades), allowing the opportunity to reach students where they are and provide events and environments suitable for their ages.
